The Early High Elven alphabet was the alphabet of the Archaic High Elven language. All of the letters had names, and and every symbol had its meaning. Unlike it's descendant, the High Elven alphabet, the Early High Elven alphabet did not distinguish between long and short vowels, or vowels and semi-vowels.
Distinction between long and short vowels came along around 700 BEKE in Classical High Elven. Distinction between vowels and semivowels was an innovation came even later, around 200 BEKE in Middle High Elven.
Early High Elven did not have distinct capitals and miniscules. There was only one class of letters.
